86.5 degreesThe greater Anchorage area has been baking in record heat of late – it hit 86.5 degrees at our cabin on Monday, which is five degrees hotter than we’ve ever seen.

So it’s no wonder some of our guests are going down to the creek for a refreshing toe-dip while their paintings dry.

Little Peters Creek is fed by melting snow. The water temperature rarely goes above 40 degrees, since most of the water that passes by our cabin was frozen less than 24 hours ago.

Paint a Scarf welcomes you to join us for our most beautiful summer ever. Paint, eat, and chill out by our creek.
