A family of robins has nested in the prow of our chalet. They have a million dollar view of the mountains and creek – but what they really love is our lawn. I have been watering the grass regularly, which brings worms to the surface. Mr. Robin waits patiently on the edge of the sprinkling radius, then jumps in and extracts dinner for his fledglings.

We have at least two chicks in the nest. This week they’ve been out practicing their flying. They took a little time to check out our deck and one of our flowerpots.

If you want to see our robins you’d better hurry – they usually abandon their nests in late July. Book your painting experience today.
